At Tokyo Keiki, formerly known as Tokimec, was established in Koishikawa, Tokyo in 1896 as Japan’s first measuring instrument manufacturer. Tokyo Keiki has made continual progress, for well over the past 100 years, in a number of production fields such as navigation instruments, hydraulic equipment, multi-purpose radio-frequency components, and the development and creation of flow meters, level meters, flaw detectors, seismometers, etc. The organizational chart for Tokyo Keiki includes Department of Navigation equipment (marine systems), Department of measurement systems and instruments, Electronics Department, two service centers (in the East and the West of Japan), overseas offices as well as five factories with extended manufacturing areas.Â
